Phyllis Eugine Quintyne née Belgrave, aged 82, late of Lot 204, 1st Avenue Park View Road, Lowlands, Christ Church and formerly of The Ivy, St. Michael. Retired Prison Officer of Her Majesty’s Prisons (Glendairy).
Daughter of the late Muriel “Myrtle” Moore and Arnold Hurley.
Wife of the late Norman Quintyne.
Mother of Grantley Belgrave (Canada), Valerie (B.V.T.B) and Betty Quintyne.
Grandmother of Tito and Kelly Belgrave (Canada), Lena and Micah Quintyne and Shereeza Ahmad (USA).
Great grandmother of three.
Sister of Roosevelt and Marcia Belgrave and three others.
Niece of Sir Elliott Belgrave.
Aunt of Valerie Ward, David “Kid Site” Piggott and many others.
Sister-in-law of Armintha Belgrave, Vere, Yvonne, Kenneth, Melvie and Jean Quintyne and Tyler Franklin.
Mother-in-law of Jay Belgrave (Canada).
Relative of the Belgrave and Hurley families from Boscobel, St. Peter, the Quintyne family of Barbados and the USA and the Franklin family.
Friend of Marlene Cheeseman, Sandra Griffith and many others.
The funeral of the late Phyllis Eugine Quintyne leaves Tudor’s Funeral Home, The Ivy, St. Michael on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 2:30pm for St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Chapel Gap, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30pm for the Service and Interment. The organist and members of the choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Tudor’s Funeral Home no later than 2:15pm on Tuesday. The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of Tudor’s Funeral Home on Monday, November 18th, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Condolences to the family of the late Phyllis Eugine Quintyne may be posted online at www.tudorsfuneralhome.com.
