Mavernie Rita Adams (also known as Mrs. Culpepper) of 2nd Avenue, St. Barnabas Heights, St. Michael was born on June 21st, 1935 in Kingstown, St. Vincent. She fell asleep early morning on June 10, 2018 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a brief battle with ill health.
Daughter of the late Donald Franklyn (USA), and the late Priscilla James (Park Hill, St Vincent).
Widow of late Winston D. Culpepper and Carlton M Adams.
Mother of Reverend Laudrick Dalzell, (Radio personality on 106.3 FM), Gaileon ‘Gilly’ Franklyn-Davis (USA), Everette Franklyn (seamstress of Station Hill), Calvert Franklyn (Central Bank), McDonald ‘Cully’ Culpepper (Plumber) and Cynthia Franklyn (St. Barnabas, St. Michael).
Grandmother of Gregory Cummings (IGM Stage Lighting), Garry Miller (Mixologist), Soraya Sealy (Harrison College) and 14 others.
Great grandmother of 26, great-great grandmother of 5. Sister of Yvonne Willie, Shirley Coombs and Pam Sealy (USA), Jermaine Jackson and Verna James (St Vincent).
Aunt of many.

The funeral of the late Mavernie Rita Adams leaves Tudor’s Funeral Home, The Ivy, St. Michael on Thursday, June 21st, 2018 at 12:30p.m for The St David’s Church, St Davids Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00p.m. for the Service. The cortege will then proceed to the Coral Ridge memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the Interment. The organist and members of the choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Tudor’s Funeral Home no later than 12:15p.m. on Thursday. The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of Tudor’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 20th from 4:00p.m. until 6:00p.m.
