Son of the late Cecee Gittens and the late Stanton O‘Connor Gittens (Retired Headmaster of The Combermere School). Brother of Maeve Gittens. Father of Stephen Gittens, Kim Gittens-Reece and Ashley Corbin. Grandfather of Jason Gittens, Sieira and Joshua Corbin. Close Friend of The Rev. Joseph Tudor, Melanie Williams, The Staff of Hooper Garment Co Ltd, Members of the Barclays Sports Club, The members of The Empire Club and Members of The Barbados Cricket Association. Relative of The Sealy, Tudor, Fields, Clarke, Morris and Springer families.
The funeral of the late William O'Connor Gittens leaves Tudor’s Funeral Home, The Ivy, St. Michael on Saturday, 29th July 2017 at 7:45am for the Chapel of Westbury Cemetery where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 9:00am for the Service and Interment. The organist is asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Tudor’s Funeral Home no later than 7:30am on Saturday. The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of Tudor’s Funeral Home on Friday, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
